This is what happens when you mix a sketchup pro with a photoshop noob...

(2035)-Brazilian Desert

The following is only speculation...
The Gilder is of unknown origin and is commonly thought to have originated from Nine Corp, the enigmatic technology organization (well known for building the Blind Sun WAU and others). Some people believe it to come from space, appearing in the asteroid storm of 2022 which initially created the Brazilian Desert. In urban society the Gilder is only known as a myth made up by crazies who believe in aliens. Fact is in the military of various nations the Gilder is well known and has changed the outcome of many battles. Entire secret organizations are dedicated to finding, capturing or destroying the Gilder to learn its secret technologies which include extremely advanced pseudo muscular systems (allowing for increased speed, jumping height and the ability to fall from great heights) as well as a titanium-carbon plating allowing it to be flexible and incredibly strong simultaneously. Strangely enough the Gilder does not have any equipped weapons but relies on its speed and active camouflage system to destroy its enemies (which is no one in particular) using physical damage such as stabbing with its feet throwing things. The Gilder has been evasive from its discovery on the battlefield (2035) until this date (2087)

P.S.
if you're wondering how they (whoever they are) knows it's titanium carbon is because they have found small pieces of it that have fallen off from high powered rail guns. The damage is speculated to have been dealt by the Blind Sun which would eliminate the suspicion that the Gilder comes from Nine Corp if it is true.

Very nice, I was thinking of a design of a certain small CDC HASu unit that similar to this but much smaller and has a more pyramid shape. I'll have to show you a design sometime. I like this, very sleek an ergonomic looking. I be honest I would probably see these more better specialized as law enforcement units or security rather than desert warfare but given size and capability it would work either way. But then again it is a rather illusive construct so that wouldn't work. I'm guessing these things are quite quick and such if there only means of attack is physical. Very nice work I think you oft this organic muscle system down keep at it!

Thanks, initially i was considering using them as CQC units but then i started figuring out how to make organic things fairly well in sketchup.

And yes this thing is very fast, it relies on entirely on it's physical abilities to deal damage so it's gotta be fast and strong.

Yea, this is mainly me practicing with artisan (for sketchup) so it's all organic and what not, which is not my usual style.
I should really play Mass effect....
