Advanced Merkava MBT by MrJumpManV4 Advanced Merkava MBT by MrJumpManV4
This is my version of the Merkava MBT but more advanced. The general shape and position of the turret is the same as the Merkava tanks but mostly everything else is different.

Specs:
151mm Smooth-bore Cannon
50 Cal. Machine gun.
2x 7.62 controlled or automated machine guns with individual optics and controls.
4x Smoke silos carrying 8 pods each.
The chain net is pointless because i read that the reason they have them is to protect the back turret from anti-tank fire from personal, i made it a bit short.
1700 HP engine of some sort.
top speed of 50 MPH on road, off road is 41 MPH.
Advanced alloyed armors (classified composition)

Sketchup 8 pro
Photoshop
Twilight Renderer

Model made by me,
Christian Salge

one of my favorite tanks of all time. they really do know how to make an indestructible tank, or close to it.

If not indestructible, then at least extremely survivable (which too an extent is all that counts).

and its such a good looking tank too. all that sloped armor doesnt just look cool, it also makes sure that many of the shells fired at the tank just bounce right off.

If I recall correctly, they had the chain net to cover a shot trap that they discovered on the early models, and has since been rectified on the recent models.

I meant it was pointless on my model since i made it too short, i'm sure it works on the actual merkava.

The bore evacuator is wrong for that kind of cannon.

If it was a lot longer and thicker it would work. The gases that would be created by the huge rounds would not be trapped very well. You would want it to be bulged because they are a lot bigger and easier to trap gas.
